Adventure
Hollowtide
★★★★★ 4.5
Hollowtide is a quieter kind of game. You wash up on a fogged coastline and piece together where you are by exploring, not by being told. There's almost no hand-holding, and that's the point.
Navigation is tap-to-move with gentle puzzle gates between areas. The soundtrack does a lot of heavy lifting, and the art style turns a small download into something that feels bigger than it is.
It's not for everyone — if you want constant objectives, the deliberate pace may frustrate you. But if you let it breathe, there are a couple of reveals that genuinely surprised us.
